The Oaks played most of their seasons at an Emervyille spot called Oaks Ball Park, where legends such as Billy Martin, Ernie Lombardi and Artie Wilson donned Oaks uniforms. Casey Stengel led the Oaks to a PCL championship in 1948, a success that spurred the Yankees to hire Stengel as manager.
